Kent’s Transfer Station is located on Maple Street (Route 341 East) and is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Access to the transfer station is by permit only. The permit is valid only for the delivery of personal household garbage generated in the town of Kent.
Recycling items, as defined below, must be placed in the specified areas. Recycling as much as possible will help to keep transfer station costs down.

Permits are issued once a year and the cost for each permit is $150.

To receive a permit, complete the permit form and bring it to the Selectmen’s Office along with a check payable to the Town of Kent.
The office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

When you receive your tag, please hang it on your vehicle’s rear view mirror so it
is visible to the transfer station attendant. There is a $5.00 fee to replace lost or damaged permits.
