Recommendations
The KEETF is recommending that the Board of Selectmen consider the following suggestions:- Creating a recycling only permit for $75/year
- Creating new signage for the transfer station
- Instituting a user contract that must be signed in order to receive a permit
- Empowering the Transfer Station attendant to enforce the transfer station regulations and user contract
- Transition to using clear trash bags for all trash
The committee has created a draft for a user contract based on what our neighboring towns are doing.

Currently, only 17% of the garbage being brought to the transfer station is being recycled; the goal is 35%.
